Mayor Shah holds meeting with Chief Minister Pandey for garbage management

KATHMANDU, June 5: Kathmandu Metropolis Mayor Balendra Shah has held a  meeting with Bagmati Province Chief Minister Rajendra Pandey.

KATHMANDU, June 5: Kathmandu Metropolis Mayor Balendra Shah has held a  meeting with Bagmati Province Chief Minister Rajendra Pandey. 


According to CM Pandey's Chief Personal Secretary Umesh Rupakheti, in the meeting held at the Chief Minister's residence in Swayambhu this morning, the two people’s representatives discussed issues related to garbage management, good governance, service delivery and heritage conservation in the metropolis.

Likewise, the meeting also discussed the issue of result-oriented cooperation between the Bagmati Province government and the metropolis in the coming days.


Shah, who was elected the mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City in the local election held on May 13, has been holding meetings with the top leaders of various political parties and heads of national and subnational governments to seek help in managing the Valley’s waste and other issues.
