Kathmandu-Mahendranagar qualifier two washed out

KATHMANDU, April 12: The qualifier two  between Kathmandu Goldens and Mahendranagar United has been washed out due to rain after just two overs of the first inning s in the ongoing second Dhangadhi Premier League on Wednesday.

KATHMANDU, April 12: The qualifier two  between Kathmandu Goldens and Mahendranagar United has been washed out due to rain after just two overs of the first inning s in the ongoing second Dhangadhi Premier League on Wednesday. 


Kathmandu won the toss and elected to field first. In two overs, Mahendranagar had made eight runs with no wickets lost, when it started to downpour, causing the match to be abandoned and postponed.

The match has been rescheduled for Thursday. 


Mahendranagar   secured the qualifier two spot with a 15-run victory over CYC Attariya in the eliminator match, while Kathmandu, after losing against Team Chauraha Dhangadhi by a wicket in the qualifier one, was given another chance in the qualifier two. 


The winner between Mahendranagar and Kathmandu will face Chauraha in the final, which is scheduled for Friday.
