KATHMANDU, Sept 25: The Kathmandu Kings XI won their first match against the Lalitpur Patriots in the Everest Premier League 2021. The match was held at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.
Kathmandu Kings XI decided to field first after winning the toss. Lalitpur Patriots were able to secure 157 runs in the allotted 20 overs. Pawan Sarraf secured 61 runs for the patriots in 44 balls.
Lalitpur Patriots register their first victory
Kathmandu Kings were able to secure 160 runs in just 14.2 overs and lost just two wickets. Zimbabwe national Ryan Burl secured 73 runs in just 34 balls for the Kings who will be playing against the Biratnagar Warriors on September 27. Likewise, the Lalitpur Patriots will play against Pokhara Rhinos in their next match on September 29.
