KATHMANDU, Oct 10: The Kathmandu District Court has extended the judicial remand of Cricketer Sandeep Lamichhane, who was arrested on the charge of raping a 17-year-old girl, by three more days for investigation.

The court has given permission to keep Lamichhane in police custody until October 13 for further investigation.
Lamichhane, who was accused of raping a minor, was arrested by the police from the Tribhuvan International Airport on Thursday. He has been kept at the Metropolitan Police Circle, Gaushala.
