CPN-UML lawmakers representing Karnali province govt resigning en masse today

SURKHET, April 5: CPN-UML lawmakers representing Karnali Provincial government are resigning en masse on Monday.

A parliamentary party meeting of the party held on Sunday had asked its lawmakers to resign from their post.

There are currently three lawmakers representing CPN-UML in Karnali Provincial government.

“The lawmakers will resign on Monday. The new government will be formed under the leadership of CPN-UML in the province,” said lawmaker Susil Thapa.

Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning Prakash Jwala, Minister for Social Development Dal Rawal and Minister for Industry, Tourism, Forest and Environment Nanda Singh Budha are the lawmakers representing CPN-UML in Karnali Provincial government led by Chief Minister Mahendra Bahadur Shahi.

CPN-UML has already withdrawn its support to the Karnali Provincial government.
