Karki promoted to secretary

KATHMANDU, July 7: The Judicial Service Commission has recommended the government to promote Joint Secretary Pramod Karki to the post of secretary, said Prakash Dhungana, secretary at the Judicial Council.



Currently posted at the Office of the Prime Minister as a joint secretary, Karki was the most senior among the joint secretary in the law service.



Now the recommendation needs approval by the cabinet. The regular meeting of the cabinet on Wednesday is expected to approve Karki´s promotion.
