KAPILVASTU, Sept 2: A COVID-19 patient from Kapilvastu died while undergoing treatment at Butwal COVID-19 Special Hospital on Wednesday.
A 70-year old woman from Krishnanagar Municipality-11 of Kapilvastu succumbed to COVID-19 at around 9:15 am this morning.
She was a patient of high blood pressure and had tested positive for COVID-19 on August 23. She had also received plasma therapy in course of COVID-19 treatment. As many as nine COVID-19 patients have been treated by Plasma Therapy in the hospital, according to the health workers in the hospital.
With this, four individuals have succumbed to COVID-19 in Kapilvastu district. Of the four deceased, two were from Kapilvastu Municipality and one each from Mayadevi Rural Municipality and Krishnanagar Municipality.
