KAG all set for “Open Artist Studios”

The Covid-19 crisis has left the art world and the artists in an uncertain lurch. During these uncertain times, the Kasthamandap Artist Group (KAG) has scheduled an  “Open Artist Studios.”

According to a press statement released by KAG, it will begin on December 1 and will continue till December 30.

It added, “Since the gallery and the exhibition are closed and postponed due to Covid-19 pandemic this year, it is very hard for the artists to sustain, so we came up with this idea and opened our studios for our art enthusiastic for direct art sales from our studio. Open Artist Studio offers an opportunity for the art collection at a huge discount at 40 percent off on each of the artwork from the studio. Not only the art sales, we will invite art lovers and art students to see and visit and will do our virtual art talks, live interviews and virtual art workshops. “

Established in 1994, Kasthamandap Artists consisted of: Asha Dangol, Bhairaj Maharjan, Binod Pradhan, Erina Tamrakar, Pramila Bajracharya and Pradip K Bajracharya.
