KATHMANDU, July 4: The ministers representing the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) led by Ashok Rai in the Pushpa Kamal Dahal-led government are going to resign from their posts.
The JSP ministers are set to resign from their posts today as the Rai-led JSP supports the recent agreement between the Nepali Congress (NC) and the CPN-UML for a new power equation.

Mohammad Ishtiaq Rai, general secretary of JSP, said that the party’s ministers have been instructed to resign today.
Rai said, "As the political landscape changes, the government has fallen into minority, and now the party will proceed according to the new situation by instructing its ministers to step down. An official meeting will be held by this evening or tomorrow morning.”
