KATHMANDU, Sept 18: Former Member of Parliament (MP) Renuka Gurung has joined the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP). She was elected an MP from the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP).
According to RPP Spokesperson Mohan Shrestha, 164 people including JSP leader Gurung, former AIG Thakur Shrestha of the Armed Police Force, central member of United National Power Nepal, president of women's organization Anju Subedi joined RPP.
Spokesperson Shrestha said that Chairman Rajendra Lingden welcomed them into the party at an event held at the party office on Saturday and granted them party membership.
