KATHMANDU, Nov 5: Journalist Sanjaya Neupane has died on Saturday evening. He was 45.
Neupane was suffering from brain tumour and died in the course of treatment at Lalitpur-based Nepal Cancer Hospital, a family member said.
He was former Vice President of Society of Economic Journalists of Nepal (SEJON). He also served as the editor of the Karobar National Daily as well as worked for the Kantipur Daily. Neupane covered economy and business beat used to write on the topics related to the economy and development.
He is survived by a wife, a daughter and a son. His last rites will be performed at Pashupati Aryaghat on Saturday night itself, the family said. RSS
