KATHMANDU, Feb 8: Apex College celebrated the Apex Smile Festival 2019 earlier this week with the slogan “Smile with Heritage”. The event was jointly organized by Apex Media Club with the support of Apex Sports Club, Apex Music and Dance Club, Apex IT Club, Apex Health and Awareness Club and Apex Tourism Club.

While Zidan Joshi won the Apex Smile Festival award, Kushal Neupane and Anish Khanal bagged the second and third prizes, respectively.

Around 250 photos were exhibited at Nepal Art Council, Babarmahal. The exhibition had various sections of photos including Apex College’s history through the years, staff photos, Nepali culture and heritage and finally the participants’ photos.

Vinay Kumar Sharma, director of academic affairs handed the prizes to the winning students.

Around 500 people including around 100 corporate guests, students from Apex, parents, distinguished representatives from various sectors attended the event. 

The festival was organized with an aim to provide students and staff a platform to frame their imagination and share stories through photos, read a statement. 

Apex Smile Festival is an annual photography competition that provides a platform to the students to showcase their creativity and skills through photographs. Saurabh Jyoti, Director of Jyoti Group and Chairman of Syakar Trading Company, was the chief guest of the event.
