KATHMANDU, Jan 31: The government has promoted Joint Secretary Rameshwar Dangal to the post of Secretary. Dangal is currently serving at the Ministry of Finance.
A cabinet meeting held on Monday took a decision to this effect. Dangal was promoted to the post of Secretary based on his seniority among three potential candidates recommended by Promotion Committee chaired by Chairman of Public Service Commission (PSC).
The Promotion Committee meeting held on Sunday had recommended the names of Dangal, Mukunda Prasad Niroula and Binod Prakash Singh for the promotion as Secretary.
