Given the genre of films he has done in the recent past, it's not surprising that John Abraham has acquired a serious image off late. However, the actor said that he's game for comedy films too. While talking to a daily, John reportedly said that he loves the genre of comedy. He believes that at the end of the day, there is so much stress in our lives that you just want to make people laugh. He also added that while it is important to educate people films, it is also important to explore all kinds of genres. Citing his own films, he said that while he enjoyed doing films like 'Parmanu' and 'Madras Cafe', he also liked to do 'Dostana' and 'Garam Masala'.

John's next film is 'Pagalpanti', which is a comedy and it stars Anil Kapoor, Arshad Warsi and Pulkit Samrat. Kapoor recently posted a picture with John with the caption: "Here's to our fifth film together." To which, John replied: "To many more Sir!"
