KATHMANDU, Dec8: The Job Mela organized by Himalaya College of Engineering (HCOE) in association with Kathmandu Model College (KMC) and Apollo International College [AIC] kicked off on Friday in Kathmandu Model College premises at Balkumari. The program was organized in partnership with MeroJob.Com. Hari Bhakta Sharma, President, Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI), inaugurated the job fair as the Chief Guest of the program. During the inaugural session, he focused on Nepal being a country with endless opportunities. He further stated that itis our duty to uplift the nation by searching for such opportunities and acting accordingly.
According to a press statement, the fair is designed to help students in finding good jobs, changing careers, exploring employment options and helping job seekers to find good location to live and work. 100 students are participating in the event.
Heart to Heart with Malvika
The participants have already got an opportunity to involve in resume writing, group discussion and mock interview sessions. The fair has also provided opportunity to students to locate good jobs, face interviews and know about career jobs in the market.
The program was chaired by Madan Sharma, Principal, and Himalaya College of Engineering. During the formal session of the program, Kapil Dev Regmi, the director of Himalaya College of Engineering, welcomed all the distinguished personalities, participating companies and the participants to the interview. Likewise, Kishor Gautam, the Executive Director of KMC Educational Network highlighted upon the importance of the program. Rameshwor Arayal, the managing director of KMC Educational network handed over the Token of Love to the Chief Guest and Guests. Students remarked that they are highly delighted since the program was fruitful in shaping their careers.
