LOS ANGELES, Oct 10: Hollywood actor-comedian Jim Carrey has posted a tribute to late girlfriend Cathriona White amid wrongful death lawsuit. The 55-year-old actor is currently being sued for wrongful death after White took her own life in 2015, aged 30.

Seemingly putting aside the legal drama that has overshadowed Jim Carrey’s life since her death, he took to Instagram to comment on his feelings for her, reports mirror.co.uk. The actor shared a photograph of him walking hand-in-hand with White.

He captioned it, “Forever in my heart” alongside a red heart emoji.

Jim Carrey was a pallbearer at White’s funeral in October 2015. However, since her death, her family has been at war with the actor. It has been alleged that he infected White with a number of sexually transmitted diseases during their relationship.

Carthriona White committed suicide in September 2015 and left a suicide note accusing Jim. The note read, “Jim You ruined my life. And even after doing so you added insult upon insult on top”. Cathriona posted a Tweet before she committed suicide saying, “Signing off Twitter, I hope I have been a light to my nearest and dearest. Peace and love to you all.”

A few days before committing suicide she posted a photo on Instagram and captioned it, “Faeries, come take me out of this dull world, for I would ride with you upon the wind, Run on the top of the disheveled tide, and dance upon the mountains like a flame. WB Yeats.”
