KATHMANDU, March 17: The Junior Football Academy (JFA) Nepal has completed a one-day football workshop on Saturday at the X-cel Futsal center, in Baluwatar.
The football workshop conducted by the AFC A license coaches, national referee, and sports physiotherapist as participated by U-18 players of Nepal.
The Founder and head coach of JFA Prajwal Pratap Chhetri said that the participants provided theoretical and practical knowledge of training, rules, and laws, discipline. He added that the players also got to understand the role of physio after the workshop. Similarly, the participants got a chance to play under tactics and among the participants.
A total of 100 participants were involved in the workshop and were trained by AFC A license coach, plus others coaches. National referee Sabin Dhakal introduced the participants with rules and laws regarding the workshop. Likewise, physio Abishkar Pudasaini taught the players about the diet chart and also the works a physio needs to do.
The other coaches Rabindra Silakar, Gorakh KC, Sudip Khanal made the players warm up and gave training with the proper equipments.
At the end of the workshop, national football team player Bharat Khawas distributed the certificates to the players.
JFA founder Chhetri added that the academy will now also be organizing regular events outside Kathmandu as well.
