KATHMANDU, Jan 23: At least one person was killed and seven others injured in a jeep accident that took place this afternoon in Mangala Rural Municipality-2 Kafalgaur of Myagdi.
According to the District Police Office, Myagdi, seven people were injured when a Bolero Jeep (Ga 1 Ja 6938), which was on its way coming from Thaiwang to Beni met with an accident.

Police Inspector Rajan Dhakal said that Faumaya Garbuja, 60, of Mangala-1 died while undergoing treatment at Beni Hospital. According to him, Santu KC, 34, Siwani KC, 10, and Riwan KC,5, of Mangala-2 have been sent to Pokhara for further treatment.
Babina Pariyar, 15, of Mangala-1 has been sent home after primary treatment, while Bipana Karki, 22, of Mangala-2, Tej Bahadur Garbuja, 38, of Mangala 1, and Bhumikala Nepali,50, of Mangala-2 are undergoing treatment at Beni Hospital.
The accident occurred when the jeep overturned on a downhill hill. Police Inspector Dhakal said that the jeep driver was arrested and the investigation started.
