The cold breeze makes everyone want to curl up under their blanket and sleep, but for many poor people it is an everyday nightmare. Keeping this in mind, JCI Patan had initiated a social cause ‘Jaycees Nyano Abhiyan’ and they have accomplished their goal of ‘Jaycees Nyano Abhiyan 2018’ where they distributed blankets, financials supports in four areas of Nepal Jaycees A, B, C and D.

In Area A, with the support of JCI Malangawa, JCI Patan distributed blankets among an underprivileged community named Paswan Basti along with Balmandir. JCI Patan were overwhelmed by the constant support from the JCI Malangawa President and their members who made their mission even more eventful.

“We feel extremely heartened to be a responsible team to serve our nation’s people in need and in any way we can,” said VP and programme coordinator of Jaycees Nyano Abhiyan 2018, JC RojinaThapa. Similarly, JCI Patan donated Rs 10,000 to Ohm Old Age Home for the welfare of elderly people with the support from JCI Hetauda of Area B. Furthermore, a donation of Rs 15,000 was also made to Kumal Basti with support from JCI Gaidakot of Area D.

“We feel that Jaycees in different parts of Nepal have made us even closer to our future goals. We all are like a family and we expect to expand our Jaycees team to more places in Nepal,” said President of JCI Patan, JC Suman Shrestha.
