KATHMANDU, Jan 3: To commemorate the New Year, JCI Patan has initiated the Jaycees Nyano Abhiyan campaign by distributing warm clothes to the elderly at Manjushree Old Age Home, Khumaltar.
According to the press statement released by JCI Patan, the warm clothes were distributed in the presence of JCI Sen Rajesh Nyachhon (Past National President, JCI Nepal), JC Padam Bikram Singh (Assigned National EVP 2018, Area C, JCI Nepal), JC Samrat Man Joshi (PP, JCI Patan), along with all the board members amid an event organized on Monday.

The press statement quoted VP of JCI Patan JC Rojina Thapa saying, “Abiding to the sentence of Jaycees Creed ‘the service to humanity is the best work of life’, Patan Jaycees bestowed bundles of warmth to the senior members of our society.”
Similarly, JC Suman Shrestha, president of JCI Patan said, “Warm clothing for the elderly is a necessity. Since body temperature regulation becomes impaired as we grow old, warms cloths become imperative during cold weather. We also plan to extend the campaign to different areas of JCI Nepal.”
