KATHMANDU, Oct 19: Jaya Ram Balami and Buddha Lama registered wins in the Nepal Open Snooker Tournament on Wednesday. In the matches held at National Sports Council (NSC) covered hall, Tripureshwar, Jaya Ram defeated Prakat Maharjan 3-0 and Buddha overcame Ishwar Giri 3-2.

In other matches of the tournament, Rajesh Tamang and Bijay Maharjan also became victorious as they beat Dipesh Chhetri and Baley Subba respectively with identical score of 3-2. Similarly, Anish Maharjan defeated Salman Shrestha 3-2, Sampurna Jung Shah overcame Gaurab Shahi Thakur 3-0, Saurabh Shahi Thakuri beat Binesh Dangol 3-0 and Santosh Patuwar registered 3-0 win over Sumesh Lama. 

Likewise, Bikesh Rai, Surya Bahadur Sunuwar and Biki Khadgi defeated Radhe Shyam Swarnakar (3-0), Maanik Shahi (3-1) and Tshering Sherpa (3-0) respectively. In the last match of the day, Sanoj Khadgi overcame Sulabh Jung Subedi 3-0.
