Japanese envoy pays courtesy visit to Foreign Minister Saud

KATHMANDU, April 26: Ambassador of Japan to Nepal, Kikuta Yutaka paid a courtesy call on Narayan Prakash Saud, the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Nepal, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Singha Durbar, Kathmandu, on Tuesday.

KATHMANDU, April 26: Ambassador of Japan to Nepal, Kikuta Yutaka paid a courtesy call on Narayan Prakash Saud, the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Nepal, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Singha Durbar, Kathmandu, on Tuesday.


In a statement issued by the Embassy of Japan, Kathmandu, on Wednesday, it is said that Ambassador Kikuta handed over a copy of congratulatory letter to Foreign Minister Saud from Hayashi Yoshimasa, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, and expressed his best wishes for the success of Saud as Nepal’s new foreign minister.

Recalling the 8th anniversary of the Earthquake of 2015, Ambassador Kikuta pointed out the importance of raising people’s awareness of disaster prevention, as well as to improve resilience, and showed his will to share the experience of Japan in this area. They also exchanged their views to further enhance the friendly relationship between Japan and Nepal.
