Janata Bank opens new branch in Lahan

KATHMANDU, Dec 21: Janata Bank Nepal Ltd has inaugurated its 39th branch office in Lahan of Siraha district.

A statement issued on Monday said that Bhimananda Dhungana and Ram Chandra Shah, board directors of the bank, jointly inaugurated the new branch office.

The bank reported profit of Rs 320.53 million in the last fiscal year. The bank is providing services through 39 branch offices, 30 ATM terminals and 15 branchless banking units, according to the statement.
