Janamat Party’s Yadav elected as provincial assembly member from Saptari 2 (b)

RAJBIRAJ, Nov 22: Mahesh Prasad Yadav of the Janamat Party has won the membership of the provincial assembly from Constituency No 2(b) of Saptari. Yadav won by a margin of 6302 votes.

RAJBIRAJ, Nov 22: Mahesh Prasad Yadav of the Janamat Party has won the membership of the provincial assembly from Constituency No 2(b) of Saptari. Yadav won by a margin of 6302 votes.


While Yadav secured 13325 votes, his closest rival Umesh Kumar Yadav got 7023 votes.

According to the Saptari District Election Office, 66.77 percent of the votes were cast in the House of Representative and provincial assemblies’ elections held on Sunday.


Similarly, in 2(a) of Saptari, Satish Singh of Janmat Party is leading with 14322 votes. JSP's Shailendra Prasad Shah has got 6749 votes. Chief Electoral Officer Hemanta Rawal said that the counting of votes in this constituency has reached the final stage.


In Saptari 2, CK Raut of Janmat Party is leading with 14468 votes. JSP's Upendra Yadav has secured 7271 votes, while the common candidate of the alliance, (Loktantrik Samajwadi Party) LSP's Jayprakash Thakur has secured 2928 votes.
