Janamat Party quits Madhesh Province govt, withdraws support

KATHMANDU, Jan 23: CK Raut-led Janamat Party has quit the Madhesh Province government.


Following the party’s decision, Education and Culture Minister of Madhesh Province Mahesh Prasad Yadav and Labor and Transport Minister Chandan Singh resigned on Tuesday.

The Parliamentary Party meeting of Janamat Party decided Tuesday to quit the Madhesh Province government and withdraw its support, according to BP Shah, secretary of Janamat Party.
