JANAKPURDHAM, March 24: The Janakpurdham-Pokhara flight, which was carried out three days a week, will be regular from Thursday. The Janakpur-Pokhara daily flight is being operated due to increasing passenger pressure. Earlier, flights were operated three days a week on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
Chief of the Civil Aviation Authority Office, Janakpurdham, Yogendra Nath Kunwar said that the three-day Janakpurdham-Pokhara flight service, which started on March 5, has become daily from Thursday.

After regular flights between the two cities, tourists coming to Janakpurdham will now reach Pokhara easily. And, tourists will come to Janakpurdham by air from Pokhara.
According to hoteliers and tourism entrepreneurs, the launch of the flight will help in the promotion of tourism in both the places.
The Janakpur-Pokhara flight is expected to make a positive contribution to tourism between Madhesh and hilly regions. Millions of Indians come to Janakpurdham to visit the Janaki Temple, a center of faith for Hindus.
They are equally interested in visiting Muktinath, including Pokhara. They will be able to reach Pokhara shortly after the Janakpur-Pokhara flight starts. Air travel will help in tourism development by establishing the Madhesh-hill link. This regular flight will be a big leap in the promotion of tourism, said Surendra Bhandari, president of Hotel Entrepreneurs Association, Janakpurdham.
