Parliamentary Hearing Committee on Thursday endorsed the names of two foreign ministry officials who were earlier recommended for appointment as ambassadors to France and Thailand.

SC vacates interim order of CG telecom

Supreme Court has vacated its interim order of the CG Telecom case on Thursday. A division bench of Chief Justice Cholendra Shamsher Rana and Justice Ishwar Khatiwada scrapped the interim order issued by Justice Deepak Raj Joshee on December 25, citing that the interim order was irrelevant and baseless.

Seven killed in Parbat bus accident

The death toll of Parbat bus mishap has climbed to seven. The accident occurred when the ill-fated bus (Ga 1 Pa 6108) skidded off the road and plunged some 100 meters into the gorge at Maldhunga-1 in Kusma municipality. Five among those killed in the Parbat bus mishap have been identified.

Police arrest 30 for flagging off PM Oli

Chelsea agree Higuain loan from Juventus

Chelsea has agreed on a deal to sign striker Gonzalo Higuain on loan from Juventus until the end of the season. The Argentina international joined the Italian champions in 2016 but was loaned to AC Milan at the start of the current season where he has scored eight goals in 22 appearances this term.
