JAJARKOT, Nov 26: Victims of the Jajarkot earthquake are dying one after another due to extreme cold as the magnitude 6.4 magnitude rendered them homeless.
The earthquake victims who are spending the night in the open in the bitter cold have become prone to health problems, resulting in the death of 14 victims so far. Most of the victims are either elderly people or children.

According to the information provided by the local representatives, Mansari Kami, 56, of Chedagad Municipality-13, Sugili Nepali , 89, of Luhadah, Keshav Bhadel of Bheri municipality-4, Dhuleshwar Karki, 88, of Bheri-2 and a one-month-old infant, Niruta Pun, died due to extreme cold.
Similarly, Pampha Rawal, 48, of Nalgad Municipality-4, Gopal Bahadur Rawal, 84, and Bishnu Kumari Khatri , 70, of Tapu-8 , Karna Bir BK, 60, of Barekot rural municipality, and Bir Bahadur BK, 55, of Barekot-6 also died due to cold.
Likewise, Dume Pun, 70, of Barekot Rural Municipality-1, Ramidanda and Narendra Bahadur Singh of Jiri-4, Devi Malla, 65, of Kushe Rural Municipality-5 and Gathu Shahi, 55, of Ward no 6 also died due to cold, according to the people’s representative.
The 6.4 magnitude earthquake on November 3 claimed 154 lives while thousands were injured.
