SURUNGA, Feb. 9: A jailbird, who was doing his time in the Jhapa prison house on a rape charge, passed away on Saturday.
Superintendent of Police (SP) of Jhapa Bhim Dhakal said that 25-year-old Anil Urab from Bhadrapur Municipality-7 in the district died of tuberculosis.

Urab was admitted to the Mechi Zonal Hospital, Bhdrapur on Friday evening and died on Saturday while receiving treatment, according to the District Police Office, Jhapa.
