Jagatpur Lodge starts operation in Chitwan

KATHMANDU, March 10: The Annapurna Group of Hotels has opened Jagatpur Lodge in Chitwan.

Issuing a statement, the group said that Jagatpur Lodge sits on the edge of the UNESCO World Heritage Site -- Chitwan National Park -- and offers visitors natural beauty of the surrounding. 

The lodge has facilities like free Wi-Fi and HD television, among others. "Tents imported from South Africa, which seems like a five-star hotel room, have been erected in the jungle," the statement added.

Apart from tents, the lodge also has 20 well-equipped rooms with private balcony and terrace. As per the statement, guests can explore jungle by elephant, jeep or by foot and will be served Tharu meal in the lodge's rustic Tharu hut. “
