KATHMANDU, Aug 27: ITC Beauty Parlor Training School on Sunday organized a one-day seminar on aromatherapy.
The seminar aimed at capacity building of women entrepreneurs in the segment. The gathering observed participation of 250 individuals including 40 beauticians from Mala Beauty Assessor Association.
No limitation to beauty
Speaking at the program, Director of Nepal Republic Media Shova Gyawali stressed on the need to maintain the rights of women professionals including beauticians. Gyawali, who is also the Chairperson of Nepal Philippines Chamber of Commerce and vice-chairperson of the Federation of Women Entrepreneurs’ Associations of Nepal, said such programs will encourage and attract more women in future.
The training school has been providing beautician training to women for the past two and a half decades. It incorporates women from various sectors and communities to make them self-reliant. Aroma therapists Dr Naresh Arora and Dr Niti Arora from India were the main attraction of the seminar.
