UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal had reached Siraha-6 to collect feedback despite protests by Madhes-centric parties yesterday.
Irate cadres of Madhes-centric parties had set the stage on fire after Dahal returned home curtailing his program.
It is reported that there had been clashes between police and agitating cadres till late evening.
Lawmaker Birendra Mahato of Federal Socialist Forum, Nepal was injured in the clash. He has been receiving treatment at Biratnagar-based Neuro Hospital.
Police had lobbed 13 rounds of teargas shells to take the demonstration under control.
Even though the feed-back collection is not over, there is not stage constructed so far. Nepali Congress lawmaker Pradeep Giri's program has been uncertain. He is in Lahan to collect people's feedback.
He will participate in feedback collection program provided the stage is constructed, he told Republica.
