KATHMANDU, Sept 8: Ira Rawat of Nepal is set to face Indian opponent Shambhavi Tiwari in the final of girls singles of the ANLTA Asian Junior Tour U-14 Tennis Tournament after winning their respective matches on Thursday. Ira overcame Prerana Koirala 6-2, 6-1 and Shambhavi defeated Lakshanya Vishwanath 5-7, 6-4, 6-4 in the semifinals.
Prerana and Lakshanya who lost the semifinal will vie for the third place.
Similarly in the boys singles events, Aadit Subedi of Nepal and Arnav Pathange of India will vie for the title. Finalists Aadit and Arnav overcame Samyak Bajracharya and Amitoj Singh Sachdeva 6-1, 6-1 and 6-0, 6-0 respectively. Samyak and Amitoj will now compete for the third place honors.
