KATHMANDU, Oct 18: The Office of the Dean at the Tribhuvan University's Institute of Medicine (IOM) has suspended the results of MBBS entrance exams conducted on Saturday.
In the entrance exams, examinees were unethically provided with the answers through an electronic device. Police arrested about three dozen individuals including examinees and outsiders on the charge of unethical practice. Investigation into the incident is under way.
According to a statement issued by the IOM on Tuesday, the entrance exams of eight students who sent their proxies by changing the photographs in the exam admission cards have been cancelled.
