According to the organizer, 300 karatekas each from Nepal and India will participate in the tournament being organized under the initiative of Nepal Gojuryu Karate Association. Likewise, the event will feature 15 players from Sri Lanka, 20 from Bangladesh, 15 from Pakistan, 12 from Afghanistan, nine from the Maldives, seven from Malaysia, five from Singapore and 17 from Bhutan. "The karatekas will compete in 67 events, including both kata and kumite," said Prakash Chand, the secretary of the association.
