In the exhibition, one gets to experience the beautiful landscape of Tibet through virtual reality headset. In addition, visitors will be able to see photographs of the landscape and the religious art of Tibet and also click their photographs against the backdrop of Tibet with the help of digital technology displayed at the exhibition.

Artist Bipana Maharajan, one of the visitors present on the first day of the exhibition, shared, “It was a good experience using virtual reality for an exhibition and I felt I was travelling to Tibet in some vehicle. And this kind of exhibition is surly an inspiration.”

Talking about the aim of the exhibition, Zhou Shengping, bureau chief at Xinhua News Agency, explained, “The exhibition aims to show real Tibet to foreigners. Meanwhile in today’s world, modern technology is developing rapidly and we wanted to show the world how traditional art and modern technology can be combined to promote culture in 3D and virtual reality forms.”
