Inter college super cricket from Feb 1

KATHMANDU, Jan 27: Ultimate Indoor Cricket and Panda Events have joined hands to organize the Inter College Super Cricket Tournament from February 1 in Kathmandu. Organizing the press-meet in the capital on Thursday, organizers informed that two weeks event will feature 24 teams from Kathmandu and Birgunj. 

The tournament will be played in league cum knockout format, organizers informed. The league round matches will be played 12 over per side and the knockout phase will be played 18 over per side. The winner of the competition will win purse of Rs 100,000 while the player of the series will bag Rs 10,000.The best bowler and batsman will be rewarded with Rs 5000 each. 

All the matches will be played at Ultimate Indoors’ indoor pitch in Koteshwar. Organizers have fixed Rs 30,000 as registration fee and will provide all the playing kits including jerseys. 

The total budget of the tournament is Rs 700,000.
