KATHMANDU, March 29: The International Conference on the Cultural Diversity in Music Education has started here in the capital on Wednesday.
Senior culture expert Satya Mohan Joshi inaugurated the conference jointly organized by Music Trust and Hessing University, Netherland which aims at promoting music education in Nepal.

Speaking at the function, nonagenarian Joshi stressed the preservation of Nepali music which is diverse culturally.
A professor from Hessing University said that one can explore many new things about music due to cultural varieties in Nepal.
As many as 130 music experts and professors from 16 countries including Japan, China, Netherlands, Denmark, India, and Finland are taking part in the conference.
