NAWALPARASI, Oct 14: The International Men's Open Kabaddi Championship has started here in Nawalparasi. 

Lawmaker from Nawalparasi Constituency Number 6, Devkaran Kalwar, inaugurated the championship amid a program here on Thursday. The championships will conclude on Saturday. 

Altogether 22 teams from Nepal and India are participating in the championship that is taking place at Guthi Suryapura of the district. The championship is organized by the Nava Jeevan Youth Cub, Nawalparasi. 

The winner team will receive cash prize of Rs 10 thousand along with the trophy and certificates while the first runner-up team eight thousand rupees together with trophy and certificates. RSS
