RAUTAHAT, Nov 17: An inmate in Rautahat prison has committed suicide. The deceased has been identified as Ladai Shah Teli, 26, of Dewahhi Gonahi Municipality. He was sentenced to prison for 21 years on charges of his involvement in kidnapping and taking hostages.

Teli was found hanging inside the toilet of the prison with a towel wrapped around his neck. He was immediately taken to Gaur Hospital with the help of prison administration, where he was declared dead after 10 minutes of reaching the hospital.
According to the chief of the prison, Sambhu Yadav, investigation into the incident is already underway.
