Chaudhary took to Twitter to share that his PCR test report for COVID-19 came out positive today morning. "Dear friends and well wishers - I have tested positive for corona as per PCR test this morning! By the grace of god, so far I have no symptoms. However, I have isolated myself as per dr’s advice. Whoever came in contact with me pls take all possible precautions! Regards," Chaudhary tweeted.
Chaudhary, also the chairman of Chaudhary Group Nepal, is the first high-profile businessman in the country who has contracted COVID-19. He is Nepali Congress (NC) lawmaker. Chaudhary is also Nepal’s first and only billionaire.
