KATHMANDU, Dec 1: India's Enforcement Directorate (ED) has summoned businessman Raj Kundra for questioning in a pornography-related money laundering case. He has been asked to appear at the ED office at 11 am on Monday, local time.
Reports from India state that the ED has summoned everyone connected to the case, including Raj Kundra, for questioning. On November 29, the ED conducted raids at the residences of Raj Kundra and his wife, actress Shilpa Shetty. The raids also targeted Kundra's office and the home of one of his associates.

Raj Kundra is accused of producing and distributing pornographic content through an app called Hotshot, which was available on Google and Apple app stores. However, it was removed in 2021 after legal action was taken against him.
Shilpa Shetty's lawyer, Prashant Patil, has denied any involvement of Shilpa in the case and emphasized that she is fully cooperating with the investigation. He requested the media not to associate her name with the case.
Raj Kundra also addressed the media on Instagram, insisting that Shilpa's name should not be repeatedly mentioned in connection with the case. He expressed confidence that the truth would come out, noting that he has supported the investigation for the past four years.
Kundra was arrested in 2021 on charges related to the production and distribution of obscene material. A few months ago, the ED seized assets worth INR 977.9 million from Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty.
