KATHMANDU, March 20: Indian Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar has congratulated his Nepali counterpart Ram Sahaya Yadav.
Indian Vice President Dhankhar took to Twitter to congratulate Yadav shortly after he assumed office on Monday. “Heartiest congratulations to Ram Sahay Yadav on assuming office of the Vice President of Nepal,” he tweeted.
Indian Vice President Dhankhar has also expressed his desire to work closely with Nepal in the days ahead. “ [I] look forward to working with you in further strengthening the unique and multifaceted India-Nepal relationship and deepening the bonds of friendship between our people,” he further tweeted.
Earlier today, President Ram Chandra Paudel administered the oath of office and secrecy to newly-elected Vice-President Yadav amidst a special ceremony at the Office of the President, Sheetal Niwas,today. Yadav was elected the Vice-President of the country on March 17.
