INARUWA, July 22: The body of an Indian national was found with his throat slit nearby Ram Janaki Temple at Devangunj Rural Municipality-2 in Sunsari district today morning.

The deceased has been identified as Bilu Yadav, 40, of Manikpur in Arariya district in India, according to the District Police Office, Sunsari. Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of Gyanendra Prasad Phuyal shared that Mahananda Mehata of Devangunj Rural Municipality-2 in Sunsari district was arrested on the charge of murdering Yadav.


The motive behind the murder is yet to be ascertained, police said. Mehata allegedly used a sharp weapon to kill the Indian national, informed Phuyal. Further investigation into the case was underway with arrestee under police's control.
