Indian laborer dies in brick kiln wall collapse

SAPTAHARI, March 28: An Indian laborer died when the wall of JSR brick kiln at Piprahi in Rupni of Saptari collapsed. Two others were injured.

The deceased has been identified as  Alim Azim,45, from West Bengal, India, police said. Saptari Police Spokesperson DSP Naresh Kumar Singh informed Republica that the deceased's wife Mujina and another worker Jaharul from West Bengal were among the injured.

The wall to the east of the brick kiln cracked while the workers were removing bricks.

Azim was taken to Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital in Rajbiraj for treatment. But the hospital pronounced him brought dead.

Both the injured are being treated.
