KOHALPUR, May 5: A woman has died after being hit by a vehicle with Indian No. plate at Kohalpur in Banke district.

The deceased has been identified as 35-year-old Jagarani Tharui of Kohalpur 6. Tharuni died when an Indian Jeep, UP 32 JM 7877, heading to Nepalgunj from Kohalpur on Friday night, hit her.

She was returning home on a cycle with her friends after working a in house construction when the accident took place, said Police Inspector Nawaraj Pokharel.

Area Police Office, Kohalpur has taken driver and the jeep under control.
