KATHMANDU, Aug 11: Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri is scheduled to arrive in Kathmandu today for an official visit, upon the invitation of Nepal’s Foreign Secretary Sewa Lamsal.


During his visit, Misri is expected to focus on advancing bilateral relations and exploring new areas of cooperation, building on recent high-level exchanges. The visit is anticipated to reinforce the close and multifaceted relationship between the neighboring countries, as per the Indian Embassy.

This visit underscores India's commitment to its relations with Nepal, a crucial component of its Neighborhood First policy, according to the Indian Embassy in Kathmandu.
