India builds 3 educational institutions in Kaski

KATHMANDU, Nov 19: Three educational institutions were built with Indian assistance of Rs 126.6 million in Kaski district. Indian Embassy said in a statement that the of Saraswati Tika Higher Secondary School was built with Indian assistance of Rs 37.10 million while Laxmi Adarsha Multiple College was built at a cost of Rs 48.40 million. The Indian Embassy in Kathmandu also offered Rs 41.10 million to build a new buildings for Gupteshwar Mahadev Multiple Campus, according the embassy.

Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Rabindra Adhikari on Saturday inaugurated Lekhnath-based Saraswati Tika Higher Secondary School.

The school is affiliated to National Examination Board (NEB) and offers plus two (10+2) programs.

Meanwhile, Deputy Chief of Mission at the Indian Embassy Ajay Kumar inaugurated the newly-built buildings of Laxmi Adarsha Multiple Campus and Gupteshwar Mahadev Multiple Campus. Affiliated to Tribhuvan University, Laxmi Adarsha Multiple Campus offers four years' undergraduate degree in Bachelor of Education (BEd) program and plus two (10+2) programs in management, education and humanities.

Similarly. Gupteshwar Mahadev Multiple Campus, affiliated to Tribhuvan University, offers BEd, BBS and MBS programs.
