Independent candidate Yogendra Mandal maintains early lead in Morang-5

BIRATNAGAR, Nov 21: Yogendra Mandal, an independent candidate for the House of Representatives, has maintained an early lead in Morang-5.

When 1,700 votes were counted, Mandal secured an overwhelming 1,300 votes, followed by UML-JSP alliance candidate Rajkumar Yadav with 100 votes and CPN-(Maoist Center) candidate Shiv Kumar Mandal with 300 votes.
