Incessant rainfall affects 1,200 households in Morang

BIRATNAGAR, July 11: As many as 1,200 households have been affected by the incessant rainfall from Tuesday in Morang district, according to the District Police Office, Morang.



Six hundred and fifty four houses have been affected by Keshaliya rivulet at Biratnagar Sub-Metropolitan City.[break]



Similarly, floods in the rivulet have inundated 200 houses at Brahmapura and 190 houses in Bakhari as well as 100 houses at Ward No. 2 and 9 of Tankisinbari VDC.



Likewise, floods in Bakraha rivulet following the rainfall of the same day have destroyed 400 houses at Ward No. 1 and 2 of Kadmaha VDC.

Floods in Ratuwa rivulet have eroded 25 bighas of land at Mahadeva-1.
